Siemens Digital Industries Software announces the availability of the latest release of Simcenter Testlab software. It is part of the Simcenter portfolio of simulation and test solutions within the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio of integrated software and services. The latest release includes updates to Simcenter Testlab Neo, enhanced model-based systems testing, introduces a new technology for accelerating structural dynamics called Digital Image Correlation, and frontloads analysis of full vehicle noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) during the design process.
Siemens Digital Industries Software unveiled its next-generation Veloce hardware-assisted verification system for the rapid verification of highly sophisticated, next-generation integrated circuit (IC) designs. This is the first complete, integrated offering that combines best-in-class virtual platform, hardware emulation, and Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) prototyping technologies and paves the way to leverage the latest powerful hardware-assisted verification methodologies.
With the new MC3001 motion controllers, available as MC 3001 B (board-to-board connectors) or MC3001P (28-pin plug connector), FAULHABER rounds out the MC V3.0 generation of controllers at the lower end of the performance spectrum. The controllers are extremely miniaturised and, with 1.4 amperes in continuous operation and up to 5 amperes peak current, are very powerful. They are designed as slaves for control and positioning tasks of DC-micromotors, linear DC servomotors or brushless DC-motors.
The national carrier Czech Railways (České dráhy – ČD) continues to modernize its fleet serving long-distance domestic and international lines. The consortium of Siemens Mobility and Škoda Transportation has won the tender for 20 Viaggio Comfort nine-car non-traction units including control cars, designed for a maximum operating speed of 230 km/h. The cars will be delivered from 2024 to 2026 and the order is valued at around half a billion EUR.
