BYSTRONIC LAUNCHES A NEW MACHINE-LEVEL PROTECTION SERVICE AGAINST CYBER-EVENTS AND HUMAN ERROR CO-DEVELOPED WITH NANOLOCK SECURITY

The new machine-level service ensures laser and bending systems are even better protected against cyber-events. It will be available as an option with in bystronic’s well-established service offerings and delivers on bystronic’s strategy to further expand its service business.

Bystronic partners with NanoLock to co-develop cyber security solutions

Bystronic and NanoLock enter a partnership to jointly develop software solutions and protect systems against cyber attacks. This is a key building block for Bystronic’s smart factory vision and demonstrates the group’s dedication to pioneering new solutions for the sheet metal processing industry.

FROM VINTAGE TO E-CAR

A trio of automotive enthusiasts at Triamp needed components for the electrification of three vintage cars. The metal processing company Ray-Cut manufactured these parts on the ByStar Fiber with 10 kilowatts. More than 2,000 working hours were required to convert two Jaguar E-Types and a second-generation Volkswagen Type 2 to high-performance electric drives while remaining as true to the original form as possible.

At the end of June, the world’s robotics elite squared off at the first virtual “RoboCup” – the Robot World Championships. hftm.team.solidus from Switzerland won the bronze medal in the “Logistics League”.
