MTA Metro-North Railroad today announced that service operated by New Jersey Transit will resume early Tuesday morning, May 20, on the Pascack Valley and Port Jervis Lines. This follows settlement of the NJ Transit strike announced late Sunday, with NJ Transit trains resuming service early Tuesday.
“Thanks to the incredible Metro-North workforce for coming through as always during this four-day work stoppage. They got our West of Hudson customers where they needed to be safely, smoothly, and on time,” said Metro-North Railroad President Justin Vonashek. “We are thrilled that NJ Transit and BLET leadership were able to quickly agree to terms on a new contract and get service running again starting on Tuesday.”
The first trains to resume on each line will be:

The 5:10 a.m. train from Spring Valley arriving at Hoboken at 6:21 a.m. with a connection at Secaucus Junction to New York Penn Station, arriving at 6:29 a.m.
