EATON

First New Switch-Disconnectors for Photovoltaic Applications up to 1500V DC with Rated Operational Currents up to 1600A

Eaton’s Electrical Sector has significantly further developed its proven DC switch-disconnector product. The constantly growing requirements placed on the efficiency of PV installations require operating voltages above the previously usual limits of 1000 VDC. For the first time, switches for up to 1500V DC with rated operational currents up to 1600A are now available. Switches and accessories are now suitable for ambient temperatures up to 65°C. Typical applications for example are switch-disconnectors in generator terminal boxes, as well as isolating main switches that are suitable for use as maintenance and repair switches on the incoming side of the DC/AC inverter.

Drypack: the "plug and dry" solution to treat biogas

The new CIAT Drypack range is a biogas dehumidification solution for industrial plants, farmers, wastewater treatment plants, waste facilities, etc. Drypack is a "plug and dry" system that integrates tubular heat exchangers, a water chiller and a high-efficiency droplet separator in a homogeneous frame-mounted system that is easy and quick to install and connect.

HMS Industrial Networks AB

New M-Bus solution from HMS allows users to optimize energy consumption

HMS now releases a solution which enables communication between M-Bus and any industrial network. M-Bus is a widely used standard for measuring devices such as electricity meters, gas meters, water meters etc. Getting data from these devices onto an industrial network enables plant owners to get better control of their total energy consumption and streamline operations.

EPLAN

EPLAN Platform 2.1 - Engineering processes actively accelerated

The EPLAN Platform 2.1 centers around standardization and automation. Automatic macro updates, targeted use of test routines - these and further functions bring about rapid results and increased quality. Even larger projects can be managed easier with the "EPLAN Multiuser Management" module.

Automation: a ‘must’ to be able to compete on the global market

C.I.A. Automation and Robotics has extensive experience in the field of advanced automation, proposed as a strategic tool to increase the competitiveness of Italian companies in the world. It offers advanced technologies such as laser scanners, stereoscopic vision equipment and systems that can reproduce a die and copy it directly, automatically recomposing the scanning scattergrams, a very differentiating solution. As most of C.I.A Automation and Robotics applications are specific, they have to interface different kinds of devices in their automatic systems that use different communication protocols. They have chosen HMS. Anybus range flexibility enables them to adapt to any communication protocol easily.

EATON

Eaton Grid and System Protection to VDE-AR-N 4105 – in the 14 kVA to 866 kVA Rating Range (20 A to 1250 A)

Eatons Electrical Sector is offering individual components for network and system protection to VDE-AR-N 4105, as well as ready to install and connect complete solutions. These individual components include contactors with a low sealing power and motor-operated circuit-breakers with low power undervoltage releases.

Curtains up for modernized stage drives

The works of Beckett and Brecht, Mozart and Wagner, and of course Goethe and Shakespeare are all performed on the stage of Theater Duisburg. After decades or even centuries, these plays, concerts and operas continue to fascinate the audience. The drive technology for the stage, however, had seen better days and therefore, the theater had new electrical equipment for backstage technology installed during the 2010/2011 season.
