ABB is launching two new single-phase uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) products, designed to meet the growing demand for reliable power protection. The new models, the PowerValue 11RT G3 1-3kVA LIB IEC and the PowerValue 11/31/33T G2 10-20kVA IEC, will be available starting May 1, 2025.
ABB’s UPS portfolio is used in data centers worldwide, ensuring data processes run without interruptions for tech giants and smart industries. The company’s single-phase PowerValue UPS devices provide the same peace of mind for the growing number of small and medium-sized organizations that need to guarantee data integrity in all circumstances.

Sébastien Surply, Power Protection Global Product Group Manager, ABB Electrification, said: “Tech giants and essential infrastructure count on ABB to protect their power supply: with these new single-phase products, we are making it easier for smaller organisations to enjoy the same level of protection. ABB’s single-phase UPS products use advanced battery technologies to help customers enhance their resilience, operational efficiency and sustainability.”
The PowerValue 11RT G3 1-3kVA LIB IEC is a compact and efficient single-phase UPS that is ideal for small businesses, IT rooms, and other applications where space is limited. It features a lithium-ion battery, which offers a 5-year warranty, longer lifespan and back-up time within an internal battery than traditional VRLA batteries. It also includes a built-in battery management system (BMS) that provides real-time monitoring and management of the battery, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
The PowerValue 11/31/33T G2 10-20kVA IEC is a more powerful single-phase UPS that is designed for larger applications, such as data centers, industrial facilities, and healthcare facilities. It features flexible input and output selection, including 1/1, 3/1 and 3/3 input/output phase, as well as a back-feed protection option that provides added security. The PowerValue 11/31/33T G2 10-20kVA IEC also includes a robust cybersecurity system that protects the UPS from unauthorized access and cyberattacks.

“These next-generation single-phase PowerValue UPS products, ABB continues to deliver cutting-edge power protection solutions that meet specific customer needs,” said Patricia Kuenzle, Power Protection Product Owner, ABB Electrification. "These products not only enhance operational efficiency; they also support sustainability efforts by utilizing advanced battery technologies."
The new products offer a range of features and benefits, including longer runtimes, low maintenance, and cost-effectiveness. They are also equipped with advanced safety features, including a battery management system (BMS) that ensures real-time monitoring and interaction between the UPS and lithium battery.
