ST Engineering: MAK Technologies Unveils NICO, an AI-Powered Avatar

MAK Technologies (MAK), a company of ST Engineering North America, is set to showcase its innovative AI-powered virtual avatar technology, NICO (Next-generation Interactive Counterpart), alongside live demonstrations of the MAK ONE suite of simulation software at the Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) 2024 from December 2-6 at booth #1213.

Visitors to the MAK booth will get an exclusive preview of NICO 1.0, an AI-powered virtual avatar designed to transform simulation-based training environments. NICO engages in lifelike conversations, interrogations, and instructions using both verbal and non-verbal cues, providing defense and training professionals with an immersive and adaptive training experience. With AI, machine learning, and augmented reality built in, NICO elevates virtual interactions to new levels of realism, enabling instructors and trainees to simulate complex human behaviors and scenarios more effectively than ever before.
