Senseca Release New Digital Handheld Multimeters
Now available at Conrad – includes products with a data logger feature.

On 1 January 2024, the five brands owned by GHM Group which also included Greisinger, a well-known company specialising in testing equipment, were merged into one company, to consolidate their individual strengths. The brand formerly known as Greisinger now trades as Senseca. The brand’s products continue to be supplied by the Conrad Sourcing Platform under the new brand name. “For over 40 years, Conrad have been one of our most important business partners as they have a massive reach and top-notch warehouse operations,” says Roland Bäuml, Vice President of the Portables business unit at Senseca. “We are happy to continue our successful collaboration, and look forward to getting our latest handheld multifunction testers out there.”
Three Versions. Unrivalled Ease of Use.
The new handheld multimeter is available in three different versions that connect to one, two or three digital sensors, respectively. All three, namely PRO D01 (1 sensor port), PRO D05.2 (2 sensor ports) and PRO D05.3 (3 sensor ports) come with a wide variety of functions, feature a robust design (IP 67 waterproofness) and are reliable and easy to use.
Highly Versatile Thanks to Multi-Sensor Technology
All three product types centre around the latest ARM technology, supporting digital sensors suitable for a wide range of tasks. This includes probes that measure temperature, atmospheric pressure (relative, absolute, differential), humidity (relative, absolute, dew point, wet-bulb temperature, gas mixture, partial pressure), photo-radiometric units, indoor air quality (CO2 and VOC index) and soil moisture. Senseca prioritise user-friendliness when it comes to sensors, too. The probes store calibration data internally, means the meter recognises the sensor and auto-adjusts in the event of sensors being swapped out. If you prefer to calibrate probes manually, there’s no problem at all either.
Practical Measurements
Senseca products will alert you via visual and acoustic signals as soon as readings exceed a preset limit. The meters also come with adjustable hysteresis i.e. the maximum allowable deviation from the setpoint. Moreover, these handheld multimeters also display MIN, MAX, and AVG values of the readings taken to facilitate statistical analysis. All of these values can be reset and adjusted to best suit the task at hand.
Easy-to-read LCD
Readings. Stats. Real-time charts. The large backlit LCD enables excellent readability in low-light conditions. The HOLD function freezes the screen, to allow a closer look at measurements. The REL button displays reference values. Default settings in the “Favourites” menu make operating the meter much easier for first-time users.
Data Logger Function and Rechargeable Batteries
Besides the above highlights, both PRO D05 meters come with a data logger function that can store one million readings. If you connect the meter to a PC, the PC recognises the product as a storage medium which means data files can be opened right away. No additional software required. You can also set specific time intervals to automatically date and time stamp all sensor readings taken by the PRO D05. Another strongpoint of the two product types is that they are powered in a sustainable way thanks to USB-rechargeable NiMH batteries.
