At the INTERGEO conference (Oct. 10-12 in Berlin, Germany), Hexagon presented new and recent innovations that make digital reality accessible to more people in more industries.
At the INTERGEO conference, Hexagon experts discussed cloud-based geospatial platforms, sensor-driven urban digital transformation and new opportunities in BIM.
Hexagon brands such as Leica Geosystems, IDS GeoRadar, Bricsys, LocLab Consulting and NovAtel jointly presented solutions for surveying, measurement and reality capture, including TPS and GNSS, GIS, laser scanning, utility mapping and detection, building construction, monitoring as well as mobile and airborne mapping.
Hexagon announced and showcased new technologies during INTERGEO 2023 including:
- Reality Cloud Studio, powered by HxDR — The SaaS application that makes digital reality available to everyone. Users can simply and easily upload reality capture data to the cloud for automated processing to create photorealistic digital twins and to share that data with anyone quickly and securely.
- GeoCloud, powered by HxDR — The powerful collaboration portal supports measurement professionals with a range of services, starting with GeoCloud Drive, comprehensive cloud storage featuring easy data transfer and synchronisation. Fully integrated into field and office workflows, GeoCloud Drive enables seamless access to data wherever you are.
- LocLab Cloud, powered by HxDR — LocLab Consulting makes digital twins more accessible with the launch of LocLab Cloud. The cloud-based platform offers a secure end-to-end solution for object-based and structured 3D digital twins, allowing access, usage, management, editing and monitoring of models.
- Leica BLK2GO PULSE — The handheld reality capture sensor provides a rapid, simple and intuitive first-person scanning method to capture only what you need, when you need it, from your point of view. The BLK2GO PULSE provides short-range indoor applications with instant point cloud visualisation during capture. With its release planned in early 2024, the BLK2GO PULSE will add a new, unique and disruptive member to the BLK2GO product family.
Attendees had the opportunity to explore a range of solutions, including the Autonomous Reality Capture booth. Here, the Leica BLK Autonomy portfolio, featuring advanced technologies, offered Smart Digital Realities™ at attendees' fingertips. The booth showcased the award-winning Leica BLK scanner series and Reality Cloud Studio.
