Carrier Transicold China Presents New Technology, Discusses Cold Chain Development at Global Cold Chain Summit

More than 1,300 cold chain industry leaders gathered in Suzhou, China, to focus on the development of the cold chain and related industries, and to discuss the opportunities and challenges faced by global trade and cold chain-related enterprises in the COVID-19 pandemic era. As vice chair of the Cold Chain Committee, Carrier Transicold assists the association in jointly leading the development of the Chinese cold chain industry.

Cynthia Lu, Managing Director of Carrier Transicold Asia Pacific, delivered a keynote speech discussing the development of global cold chain logistics and the application of new technologies and products. During the presentation, Carrier Transicold launched its new Citimax 1000 and Citimax 1100 units developed for heavy-duty refrigerated trucks with high-roof cabs.

"To help the cold chain industry better meet the challenges, Carrier Transicold’s research and development team created the new Citimax 1000 and 1100 products, which provide a solution for heavy-duty refrigerated trucks without cutting the cabs roof,"
said Lu.

As product extensions in the Citimax series, the new models deliver the same reliable quality, strong cooling and accurate temperature control and also offer unique features created for the heavy-duty trucks.

Since the start of the pandemic, biotechnology and pharmaceutical health industries experienced a rapid increase in demand. Both the rise of e-commerce and the increased need for pharmaceutical transportation have created demand for cold chain logistics, and the industry is facing challenges to fulfill the need.

“Carrier Transicold continues to strive for excellence with the development of energy saving, environmentally sustainable technologies with low greenhouse gas and noise emissions. These advanced cold chain solutions will continue to help develop China's cold chain, and build better solutions for people and the planet,”
said Lu.
