NEPTUS: VERTICAL WATER-TO-AIR HEAT PUMP RANGE SPECIALLY DESIGNED FOR COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS

The Neptus heat pump range, on water loop or connected to geothermal energy sources, is distinguished by the highest level of seasonal performance on the market with EER and COP reaching 4.3. The range is made up of 9 models of varying size in vertical water-to-air reversible heat pumps or cooling versions, with heating capacities from 28 to 109 kW, and cooling capacities from 24 to 93 kW. These units use R-410A refrigerant, and are specially designed for heating and air conditioning new or renovated commercial buildings.

NEPTUS: VERTICAL WATER-TO-AIR HEAT PUMP RANGE SPECIALLY DESIGNED FOR COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS

Neptus heat pumps supply and acquire energy either from the water contained in a water loop (a closed loop in which water circulates by means of a pump) or from a geothermal system in which water recovers energy contained in the ground.

The Neptus range guarantees the highest levels of energy efficiency with an EER  11% higher than that of standard units, and a COP reaching 4.2, for a 5% increase. The new CIAT Plug-Fan technology increases efficiency of the ventilation system and reduces energy consumption by up to 30%. This performance is made possible by backward-curved propylene-blade impellers which continually adapt to pressure drops from the duct system and filters in order to meet the commissioned air flow rate. An EC (Electronically Commutated) technology motor significantly increases efficiency and extends the system’s lifecycle. Direct coupling also eliminates the use of pulleys and belts, thereby reducing losses and eradicating maintenance costs.

Furthermore, in moderate outdoor temperatures, an active recovery system - as opposed to conventional recovery systems (static) - increases both recovery capacity and efficiency. A specific thermodynamic energy circuit integrated into the unit allows energy to be recovered from exhaust air (MRC assembly) which results in greater energy savings.

These new units include an AVANT control device, optimising comfort for the users. Its main functions are weekly and daily scheduling, remote control and temperature control of supply air and ambient air . With AVANT PRO, information from control panels and sensors can be exchanged for up to 15 units. . The Avant and Avant Pro systems can also be complemented with PlantVisorPRO 2,  a centralised management system for the installations which results in significant savings in terms of maintenance and operating costs.

To guarantee the highest levels of indoor air quality, a high filtration quality and a fresh air management system are provided. There are two filtration stages: a first gravimetric (G4) or opacimetric (F6 or F7) stage plus an additional opacimetric stage (from F6 to F9). Sensors monitor the degree of filter fouling. The registers on the ventilation sections provide easy access to the fans, batteries and condensation pans for cleaning and maintenance. Fresh air management is done by free cooling and the renewal of hygienic fresh air controlled by a CO2+VOC air quality sensor. The free cooling mode is particularly efficient for commercial premises and can be used over a significant number of months throughout the year cooling at no cost. This results in substantial savings as the consumption of energy is reduced.

The Neptus range is easy to install. The multiple assembly and air flow configurations available enable the machines to adapt to installations constraints with ease.
