Low cost Eddy Current sensor with integrated electronics
The eddyNCDT 3001 is a new high performance eddy current sensor in an extremely compact package. Although it is a similar size to typical proximity and inductive sensors, the measuring performance is much greater.
All conditioning electronics are completely integrated into the sensor housing. The compact dimensions do not mean lower performance however; the temperature compensated electronics provides high measurement stability even in fluctuating ambient temperatures.Ideal for OEM integration
Combined with an extremely competitive pricing structure the eddyNCDT 3001 eddy current sensor is ideally suited to OEM integration and machine building applications. The eddy current sensor can be supplied in single or large quantities for higher volume OEM applications.
The sensor is factory calibrated with both ferrous and non-ferromagnetic materials, which eliminates the need for onsite calibration of the sensor. The robust construction combined with the eddy current measurement principle, enables measurements in harsh industrial environments (oil, pressure, dirt). Additionally, the eddyNCDT 3001 is also suitable for offshore and marine applications (saltwater resistant).
The alternative to inductive sensors
eddyNCDT 3001 sensors provide a higher bandwidth when compared with inductive switches and sensors making them more suitable for monitoring high speed movements. Due to their factory calibration the eddyNCDT 3001 sensors offer high temperature stability and accuracy and are ideal for wear and condition monitoring applications, where continuous operation in industrial environments is required.
