Cable-free enabling: new wireless safety foot control

The design of these one- or two-pedal foot switches is geared towards ergonomically comfortable, non-tiring actuation, as well as extreme durability, even in adverse environments. If the operator presses the pedal into its middle position, an action such as a press stroke can be enabled. The two end positions, in contrast, trigger an immediate stop of the press or dangerous movement. The enabling function is thus only active when the operator consciously actuates it.
The RF GF(S) fulfils all the relevant standards (incl. DIN EN 12622 and DIN EN 60947-5-8).
Potential applications for these new wireless safety foot controls include press brakes and other forming machines. Wireless signal transmission via the safety-related sWave®-safe wireless protocol offers users greater freedom of movement: the foot switch can be positioned wherever the ergonomic comfort is greatest. This is particularly advantageous on larger machines.
