At the end of 2025, the company recorded an improvement in its UNI/PdR 125:2022 audit score for Gender Equality in Italy, which it had already achieved the previous year. This increase confirms the success of the projects carried out and the results achieved.

With the adoption of UNI/PdR 125:2022, Comau committed to continuously monitoring and improving its internal policies and practices, in order to offer equal opportunities for growth and fulfillment to all employees. In particular, over the past year, Comau has demonstrated a further investment in initiatives aimed at fostering an open, communicative, and collaborative environment, protecting diversity and enhancing the skills and talents of every individual. Among the main initiatives, the launch of “idea2grow”, a channel through which all colleagues can submit proposals. One of these led to the introduction, at Comau’s Italian sites, of the “Women Self Defense” course, designed to strengthen employees’ psycho-physical well-being through self-defense training sessions. In all plants, a DEI policy deep-dive workshop and a seminar on the topic “Women in Leadership” were also delivered, with the goal of strengthening women’s leadership and representation capabilities within the company. These initiatives are complemented by special projects, such as the event held during the International Women’s Day, featuring the participation of internal and external managers who shared their personal and professional experiences, as well as the “Con quali occhi”, series of meetings dedicated to awareness, inclusion, and personal growth. In addition, the empowerment initiatives carried out in collaboration with external organizations include participation in events such as Ottobre Rosa (focused on prevention), Just the Woman I Am (a charity run), Women in the City (an international event addressing gender equality), Women in Automation (a corporate project aimed at promoting, through communication channels, the professional stories of women specialized in technological fields), the collaboration with the Stem by Women association, the participation in the Ingenio al Femminile Award, and in the HumanAIze Master’s program.

Simona Mariani, General Counsel and Vice President of the DEI Committee, stated: “Comau, also through this certification process, aims to further strengthen its commitment to promoting an inclusive workforce, where everyone has equal opportunities and feels protected and respected. This commitment takes shape through training and awareness initiatives, as well as fair and inclusive corporate policies, from recruitment to career progression. The goal is to foster a truly open and inclusive culture that encourages innovation and collaboration, which are key drivers of the sustainability and global growth of the business.”
