Today, Valeo acquired Siemens’ 50% stake in Valeo Siemens eAutomotive, as provided for in the agreement signed with Siemens on February 9. As a result, Valeo now holds 100% of Valeo Siemens eAutomotive, the leader in high-voltage electrification, which has been integrated into its Powertrain Systems business.

Vitesco Technologies uses state-of-the-art green lasers from TRUMPF for energy-saving welding of copper. Due to electrification in the drive, copper welding is currently a key manufacturing process. Green laser systems are energy-efficient and also reduce manufacturing effort. Copper welding with green lasers is already being used in a current electronics series project for the BMW group.

Kemi Shipping Oy, owned by Finnish Metsä Group, has ordered eight award-winning Konecranes E-VER fully electric forklifts including full service contracts for their operations in the Port of Kemi. Highly impressed with an E-VER delivered early in 2022, the Finnish logistics company is strengthening operations with an additional order. The order was received in June 2022 and will be delivered in the first half of 2023.
