Bobcat, an equipment, innovation and worksite solutions brand, is showcasing its end-to-end job site solutions at the Association of Equipment Manufacturers’ (AEM) Celebration of Construction on the National Mall, May 14-16, in Washington, D.C.

Highlighting its manufacturing presence across the U.S., Bobcat will showcase several key pieces of equipment at the celebration including its T86 compact track loader, E40 compact excavator, PG50 portable generator and PL65 portable light tower, demonstrating products within its equipment lineup that help people accomplish more. Visitors will also see a demonstration of Bobcat’s MaxControl remote operation technology, as well as interact with its collision warning and avoidance system technology designed to assist operators’ job site awareness.

Today’s Equipment and Tomorrow’s Innovations

T86 Compact Track Loader
The Bobcat T86 compact track loader is a versatile machine for construction and concrete job sites. The T86’s three hydraulic flow options – standard, high and super flow – are unique to the industry and allow operators to increase their productivity by utilizing Bobcat’s vast offering of compatible attachments along with the Bob-Tach® attachment mounting system.

E40 Compact Excavator
The Bobcat E40 compact excavator delivers impressive digging power, depth and reach, with smooth and precise controls offering operators exceptional performance and attachment versatility. This minimal tail swing excavator has less than two inches of overhang, a standard long arm and nearly 4,000 pounds of lifting capacity and sets the standard for over-the-blade and over-the-side lift capacity, fast cycle times and optimal slewing power.

PG50 Portable Generator
Portable generators bring reliable power where operators need it most. The Bobcat PG50 portable generator is ideal for events, emergency backup, disaster relief and construction. Its built-in safety measures and easy-to-read gauges make for safe and simple operation and includes thoughtfully positioned access doors to ensure easy job site servicing and routine maintenance. It offers versatile power and long run times and is rugged yet compact enclosure results in easy maneuverability. The PG50 has a 48kVA (38 kW) power output at a quiet 64 dB(A).

PL65 Portable Light Tower
Bobcat portable light towers provide light for special events, road construction, oil field operations, emergency and natural disaster response, or any other operation. The Bobcat PL65 portable light tower illuminates worksites for safe 24-hour productivity and includes an impressive, class-leading, 119-hour runtime. The PL65 is a programmable light tower with a mast that rotates a full 360 degrees and extends up to 23 feet high for broad coverage, while each of the lights can be pointed independently. This critical equipment is engineered for maximum productivity and has an innovative clamshell-style canopy made of durable, lightweight composite material that lifts easily for quick access to service points.

MaxControl
Bobcat’s MaxControl remote operation technology allows operators to control their Bobcat loader and attachments from outside the cab, using an iPhone or any device running the iOS operating system. This is especially helpful for operators who are shorthanded on the job site, allowing for quick, two-person jobs to be handled by one operator instead. MaxControl can simplify a variety of tasks including backfilling trenches, post hole digging, loading a machine onto a trailer, loading trucks, picking rocks and more.

Collision Warning and Avoidance System
Bobcat’s collision warning and avoidance system concept technology tracks the position, direction and speed of objects relative to the machine. By using either the active or passive setting, operators can receive audible alerts or enable the machine to stop automatically upon detecting an object in its path.
