CareerTech VISION 2024
Mitsubishi Electric Automation, Inc. is dedicated to developing manufacturing talent, building educational partnerships, and reshaping educational facilities across the Americas. To promote this area of focus, the company will attend ACTE’s CareerTech VISION 2024 in San Antonio, Texas, from December 4-7 to engage with students and educational partners.
Mitsubishi Electric Automation will showcase its Workforce Development program, Diamondworks!, which offers cost-effective educational resources to schools offering STEM programs such as mechatronics, robotics and automation, and advanced manufacturing. Demonstrations will highlight several automation products and solutions, including an interactive CNC machine-tending robot cell that makes custom dog tags and training modules for teaching PLCS, HMI, VFD, and Servo motion.
This year, Mitsubishi Electric Automation is collaborating with the Mitsubishi Electric America Foundation and Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US. MEAF has been dedicated to helping youth with disabilities maximize their potential and participation in society by implementing National Grant and Employee Volunteer Programs in the United States. The Mitsubishi Electric America Foundation supports the Uniquely Abled Project, which focuses on creating inclusive career and technical education opportunities for youth with autism. On the other hand, Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US offers a range of products and solutions for cooling and heating homes and commercial buildings, and shares Mitsubishi Electric Automation’s mission of preparing and educating the future generation and will demonstrate their educational resources and career opportunities.
"Mitsubishi Electric Automation’s Diamondworks! program is built for the educator. We offer tailored educational equipment, curriculum, and instructor training classes to ease the barrier of entry for the integration of Mitsubishi Electric technology into a school’s programs. We are easy to work with, and we understand what is important to educators – we put the student first and emphasize industry applications, career opportunities, and teaching critical skills that will allow an individual to find success in the workforce,” said Tom Majewski, Workforce Development Manager at Mitsubishi Electric Automation.
