Landi Renzo S.p.A.
Landi Renzo Group makes its debut at IAA Transportation
Landi Renzo Group, a global leader in components for natural gas and hydrogen pressure management in the Mobility and Infrastructure sectors, will make its first appearance at the prestigious IAA Transportation trade fair to be held in Hannover from 17 to 22 September. Its presence marks a significant milestone for the Group, demonstrating its commitment to partner with the leading international LCV, MD, and Heavy Duty manufacturers on the common path of energy transition and decarbonisation. Taking part in this event will not only allow the brand to showcase some of the main Hydrogen and Natural Gas products, but it will also be an opportunity to support manufacturers in the development of ad hoc solutions for industrial and commercial mobility.
The Landi Group will be present in Hall 26 within the ICE Agency/Anfia collective, where it will display some of its mobility solutions at stand C52 - No. 10. It will also join important automotive OEMs with Landi Renzo's innovative EM-H mechatronic regulator and the new port fuel injector (PFI). Both products have been recently
launched and are devoted to hydrogen applications.
As already announced, two phases govern the functionality of the EM-H regulator, according to the vehicle’s requirements: a mechanical stage that reduces pressure from high to medium; and a subsequent entirely electronic stage which lowers pressure from average to the value that is actually required by the engine's injection system. Moreover, thanks to its innovative design, it is able to guarantee ideal injector pressure at any speed and load, while optimising combustion for high-pressure injection systems.

On the other hand, Landi Renzo's experience with natural gas has resulted in the new port fuel injector (PFI); thanks to a specific upgrade in technical design and materials, this product has been developed for mid/heavy duty hydrogen-powered applications. Furthermore, its injectors are available in 6 sizes with the possibility of multiple injectors per cylinder so as to meet the most diverse flow-rate requirements. This injector can also be easily assembled in multiples depending on the number of cylinders on an internal combustion engine rail, and its performance characteristics also make it suitable for fuel cell dosing systems.
In addition, it can be applied within a dual rail solution to handle on-board blending applications – another important milestone for the Landi Group towards ‘industrial mobility’ decarbonisation.

Arianna Lachello, Chief Commercial OEM Officer at Landi Renzo, expressed her enthusiasm for this debut by stating: “The presence of the Landi Renzo Group at IAA reflects a consistent approach to the concept of technological neutrality. Our now historical leadership in natural gas and hydrogen applications, including their blending, underlines our commitment to real decarbonisation both in the Mobility sector with the Landi Renzo, Lovato, Metatron, AEB and Emmegas brands and in the Infrastructure sector with the SAFE, IMW and Idromeccanica brands”.
The Group has always put the spotlight on innovative solutions that support the transition to cleaner and more sustainable transportation. By sharing its expertise in alternative fuels during this important international trade fair, the company aims to promote the adoption of environmentally friendly technologies that help reduce CO2 emissions. Through its combined presence in the Mobility and Infrastructure sectors, the Group also promotes an enhancement of the circular economy and bio-methane.
Participation at the IAA 2024 provides a platform to engage with industry players, OEMs and consumers and to discuss the future of sustainable mobility solutions. Through its innovative products and partnerships with industry leaders, Landi Renzo intends to contribute to positive change and shape the future of transport towards a greener and more sustainable path.
