The solution is a reliable connecting element, the backlash-free R+W precision safety coupling in the split clamping hub design, or SKH for short. The product advantages are obvious:

  • Particularly cost-efficient thanks to reduced assembly and downtime

Due to the spring-loaded ball detent principle and with disc springs specially developed for this purpose - only with R+W precision torque limiting couplings - the SKH coupling separates the input and output sides within milliseconds in the event of a machine crash and prevents application damage as well as expensive machine downtimes.

The connection with the two clamping hubs enables easy installation in the confined machine room.

Torque transmission in the standard range goes from 0.1 to 2,800 Nm, higher torques on request and in cooperation with the experienced R+W engineers.
