Labour-saving technology for industrial production FMB to showcase innovative assembly and handling technology
Components are assembled, conveyed, lifted, transported and moved around in industrial manufacturing. Systems and components from the field of assembly, handling and automation technology are required where these processes are carried out in automated operations or at least with the aid of machinery.
FMB – the supplier show for mechanical engineering 2014, which is being staged for the tenth time at Bad Salzuflen Exhibition Centre from 5 to 7 November 2014, will provide visitors with a condensed and representative overview of the develop-ments in this area of industrial automation. The entire spectrum of this discipline is covered by some eighty exhibitors at the fair operating in the field of assembly, handling and automation engineering.
Leading manufacturers such as Bosch Rexroth, isel Germany and Minitec will be showcasing their customisable modular systems for automated production in the field of floor-bound conveyance, handling and feeding technology.
Other exhibitors, including Dreckshage, item and Rose + Krieger, will be presenting innovative solutions for ergonomically optimised work stations in production and assembly departments. A large number of manufacturers of components for electro-mechanical and electro-pneumatic automation engineering such as Festo, Franke, SMC and Zimmer will also be taking part in the show.
Moreover, well-known manufacturers of crane systems and suspension tracks - eepos, Strödter, Terex/ Demag and Vetter - will be presenting their product portfo-lios with regard to floor-free handling technology. There are some exciting further developments here: The latest generation of handling systems can be operated without an external operating unit, simply by means of guiding the component. This makes the operator 's job easier and results in process optimisation in industrial production.
