Drypack: the "plug and dry" solution to treat biogas
The new CIAT Drypack range is a biogas dehumidification solution for industrial plants, farmers, wastewater treatment plants, waste facilities, etc. Drypack is a "plug and dry" system that integrates tubular heat exchangers, a water chiller and a high-efficiency droplet separator in a homogeneous frame-mounted system that is easy and quick to install and connect.
Biogas offers enormous potential for savings in the production of electricity, heat or biomethane. In its raw state, it contains many impurities (H2S, NH3, siloxanes, etc.) and it is saturated with water vapour. This poor gas quality reduces energy efficiency and compromises the service life of recovery installations, in particular the engine and purification equipment. Drypack is an efficient dehumidification solution that is easy to install and maintain, and can protect your installations efficiently.
The system is available in three versions: Drypack One, Drypack Flex and Drypack Plus.
Drypack One, with an air treatment capacity of up to 800 N m3/hr, is an offer comprising 8 models configured to correspond to the operating conditions most frequently encountered in agricultural biogas installations.
Drypack Flex, with air treatment capacities of up to 2,500 N m3/hr, represents the best compromise between adaptation to requirements and simplicity of installation. CIAT selects and optimises the system components to suit the specific data for a given installation. The system is supplied on a frame, with all the advantages of "Plug & Dry" design.
Drypack Plus is the most powerful version, with a capacity of up to 6,000 Nm3/hr, and the one that shows the highest level of adaptability. Whatever the type of gas, the flow rate, the temperatures and the desired level of humidity, the CIAT components offer an unlimited range of combinations.
In Germany and throughout the world, over 1,300 biogas dehumidification installations have already been equipped with CIAT systems.
