The opening of Huron Saint-Laurent’s new premises is a great success.

On Thursday 8 December, Huron Canada Inc. opened its new head office at 408, Isabey in St-Laurent. More than a hundred current and potential customers, representing the aeronautics industry, tool makers, high precision parts and general mechanics attended seminars and technical demonstrations presented throughout the day in Huron’s new training centre and showrooms.

The new premises offer greatly increased floor space, which means that more machinery can be displayed in the showroom and logistics are simplified.

The following were just a few of the seminars and demonstrations presented:
-“Reduce Shavings”, with a demonstration of the 3 axis VX12 machine.
-“Vector Forces in Milling”
-Machining demonstrations with Huron’s high performance milling machines and lathes: the K2X 8 Five, VX 12 and DX 150
-Automation of the CAM programming procedures
-Etc.
