Direct Part Marking for Easy Integration
(Charlotte, NC --August, 2011) When direct part marking requirements are specific and integration needs to be quick and uncomplicated, manufacturers and integrators should consider Technifor’s XF line of compact, durable, easily integrated micro-percussion and scribing solutions.
Marking Heads to fit your requirements
The electromagnetic XF510m supplies precise, quality marks without using air; just plug it into the nearest electrical supply. The force of the electromagnetic percussion can be adjusted in hundredths through its control system, allowing for use on some of the most delicate materials. This range is particularly suited to the marking of 2D codes (DataMatrixTM, ECC200, UID etc.)
The pneumatic XF510p is a light compact head —measuring 5.37 x 3.41 x 4.47 inches (136.4 x 86.7 x 113.7 mm) and weighing in at just 5.07 pounds (2.3 kg)— that provides a speed of 10 characters per second, one of the fastest most precise marking solutions on the market.
The XF510r scriber combines depth of marking with aesthetically pleasing results. Text and logo marks are extremely clear. Plus, when noise levels are an issue, this very quiet unit meets the most stringent noise control standards (< 72 dBA).
Technifor’s variety of marking fields — up to 7.87 x 3.15 (200 x 80 mm)— creates a range of 11 fast, compact machines that seamlessly integrate into all production line layouts (indexing tables, end of arm robots etc.) and no matter the marking head postion, delivers consistant quality marks.
Designed for use in the toughest environments these marking heads can also be fitted with protective shutters or bellows and enhanced by further options such as a motorized Z-axis with surface sensing, a height adjustment system (± .87inches/22 mm), DMC part or rotation devices.
Controllers that speak your language
Technifor’s engineers devised a simple-to-operate control unit with Ethernet, USB, RS232, 8 input and 4 output interfaces. With an 18-language interface, it handles 14 different keyboard types and comes equipped with a universal 90 - 240 V power supply. The only model on the market with a large backlit screen, its user-friendly icons and contextual help, enable easy and simple programming of all types of marking: text, logos, variables, time-stamping, counters, 2D codes etc.
Controllers can work autonomously, be controlled by a PC or programmable logic controller operating from up 15 meters (approximately 49 feet) away.
