SPACE GAS, with integrated condensation gas burner

CIAT launches Space Gas, a new range of roof-tops with an integrated condensation gas burner. The range covers a variety of power ratings from 60 kW to 142 kW, and is made up of 10 models in cooling-only modes with integrated gas burner, or heat pump with integrated support gas burner, and uses R-410A refrigerant. This equipment is designed to meet the needs of retail and industrial areas.

Space Gas goes a step further in the protection of the environment by incorporating pre-mixing technology into the gas burner. This guarantees the absence of carbon monoxide “CO = 0 ppm”, whilst reducing nitrogen oxide emissions. In addition, the gas burner uses modulation technology to guarantee maximum levels of efficiency.

A washable gravimetric filter and the two-stage filtration process - gravimetric (G3, G4) and opacimetric (F6 to F9) – guarantee interior air quality at all times. Space Gas equipment incorporates the latest Avant Pro technology, offering two ways of controlling the flow of fresh air: by adjustable settings for fresh air, or by adjustable settings for air quality.

The new Avant Pro regulation mechanism optimises the operation of the air diffusion system, controlling the return temperature and the supply temperature. The advanced Free Cooling functions that it offers (thermal, enthalpic, and thermo-enthalpic) enable air to be introduced for cooling and dehumidification efficiently and with the lowest level of consumption. In this new range of equipment, the gas burner as well as the rest of the equipment feature all the protection needed to guarantee the functioning and safety of the installation. Thanks to the Avant Pro regulation system, CIAT offers various solutions for monitoring equipment: local or remote monitoring. In addition, it also enables CIAT to offer a personalised communication solution for your installations using the following protocols: Carel & Modbus, Lonworks, Bacnet, Ethernet & Bacnet Ethernet, Konnex, etc.
Anti-stratification control results in savings of between about 30 and 50% in terms of gas consumption, reducing the temperature difference between the area occupied and the roof and reducing heat loss through the covering. Moreover, the DEGIPAC intelligent defrosting system enables defrosting to be carried out only when necessary, and adjusts the defrosting time to optimise the operation.

Integration of the gas burner into the unit means that there is no need for any additional equipment to be installed. This makes installation easier, and reduces the space required by the equipment. Furthermore, the design of the equipment gives easy access to components for maintenance. This shows it to be the best solution for start-up and for equipment maintenance.
