Faro, Portugal – October 22, 2026 – The leadership for ODVA’s 25th term was elected and announced at the organization’s 24th Annual Meeting of Members in Faro, Portugal, on October 22, 2026. As ODVA enters its next term, the organization continues to advance a strategic initiative launched at its 2025 Annual Meeting in Clearwater, Florida, focused on strengthening the value of ODVA membership, expanding the EtherNet/IP™ ecosystem, and increasing the visibility and recognition of EtherNet/IP worldwide.
A key outcome of this initiative is a simplified and more flexible membership and Licensed Vendor participation structure designed to encourage broader participation in EtherNet/IP development and help expand the range of EtherNet/IP-enabled products available to end users.
ODVA has also launched an EtherNet/IP and ODVA Brand Communication Guide to strengthen and clarify how the two brands are represented and communicated throughout the industry. The initiative is intended to reinforce EtherNet/IP as a leading industrial Ethernet technology while clearly communicating ODVA’s role as the organization responsible for its specifications, conformance, and ecosystem.
In addition, ODVA has expanded its industry communications with new case studies demonstrating EtherNet/IP deployments across a broad range of industries and applications, including emerging applications utilizing EtherNet/IP over Ethernet-APL. These examples highlight the continued evolution and expanding reach of EtherNet/IP from traditional industrial automation applications into new areas of industrial connectivity.
“Together, these initiatives reflect ODVA’s continued commitment to strengthening the EtherNet/IP ecosystem, supporting its global community of technology developers and users, and ensuring that EtherNet/IP remains well positioned to address the evolving connectivity needs of industrial automation.”, said Dr. Al Beydoun, President and Executive Director of ODVA.
