deviceWISE, a Telit Cinterion company, will showcase its deviceWISE Intelligence Suite at the Automate 2026 automation technology event, which will take place from June 22 to 25, 2026, at Booth 4233 in Chicago, Illinois. The platform utilizes active intelligence to enable autonomous decision-making at the factory edge.
Data Orchestration and AI Integration
The deviceWISE Intelligence Suite connects operational technology (OT) machine data with enterprise IT systems, orchestrating data flows between factory equipment and enterprise applications. The platform collects and aggregates operational data across the factory floor to provide manufacturers with visibility into operations at every organizational level. For adaptive decision-making, the system integrates with NVIDIA edge AI technologies, utilizing the NVIDIA Metropolis Blueprint for video search and summarization (VSS) to build and deploy video analytics AI agents at scale.
Fault Detection and Process Optimization
The software platform employs AI agents to monitor operations, detect anomalies, and identify the source of faults. When an issue occurs, the platform generates situation-specific operating procedures and guides operators through resolution. These capabilities apply to quality inspection, fault recovery, process optimization, and workstation monitoring.
The live demonstration at the exhibition will focus on two core capabilities of the Intelligence Suite:
- Fault Detection: Identifies and diagnoses equipment or process faults, then recommends or executes recovery steps.
- Workstation Sentinel: Continuously monitors the production line, comparing observed activity against standard operating procedures to flag issues such as incorrect parts or improper feed.
Technical Session and Edge Architecture
The underlying technology will be the subject of a featured session led by Linir Zamir, Ph.D., AI engineering team lead at Telit Cinterion. He will present a technical session titled “Agentic AI on the Edge for IIoT” on June 24, 2026, at 3:30 p.m. CT. The presentation will examine how agentic AI, deployed at the edge and combined with deviceWISE, allows industrial systems to operate autonomously, adapt in real time, and reduce latency and cloud dependency across industrial internet of things (IIoT) deployments.
