Modular foot control system for the OR
At the Medica, steute Meditec will be presenting a new foot control series featuring a modular design. The housing of the MFS-MED GP712 series can be fitted with different actuators, including pedals, push buttons, rocker switches and joypads. The number of actuators is also variable. When developing this new multifunctional foot control system, the designers attached great importance to ergonomic comfort and fitness for purpose. The system is comfortable to use due to its flat housing and good tactile feedback from newly developed rockers switches and joypads. An optional toe bar makes the control even easier to position, wherever its ideal location might be.
Another key feature is the system's hygienic design: the control and all its actuators are very easy to clean. Silicone cuffs seal the housing from environmental influences (protection class IP X8). All functions can be performed redundantly – guaranteeing the highest level of operational safety.
The modular design, with its uniform housing and customised actuators, fulfils the demands for affordability and a short "time to market", while retaining high quality and reliability.
With its MFS-MED GP712 series, which will be presented at the Medica for the first time, steute Meditec has expanded its range of control systems for medical equipment to include a foot switch series which is located halfway between its "Classic" series (standard catalogue range of controls) and its "Custom" series (customised controls for medical equipment).
