The new illuminated selector switches and robust key switches are intended for industries where HMIs are subject to chemicals, corrosion, or intensive cleaning processes, such as the food industry.

Illuminated selector switch for safe and intuitive operation
The new illuminated selector switch in Series 82 combines a stainless steel housing with a corrosion-resistant design and a high degree of protection. This makes it suitable for use in harsh industrial environments requiring high standards of hygiene, durability, and reliability.

Its ergonomic design enables precise operation with clearly perceptible tactile feedback. The integrated illumination, available in various colors, ensures clear identification of switching positions even under unfavorable lighting conditions.

Durable key switch for controlled access
As a complement, EAO introduces a long-lasting key switch designed to prevent accidental or unauthorized operation, particularly in safety-related applications. It can be used for functions requiring access authorization or for activating critical system functions.

Typical applications include access control for machines, doors, and control cabinets, as well as switching between operating modes with restricted access.
