CBS ArcSafe, a leading manufacturer of remote racking and switching solutions for low- and medium-voltage switchgear, has introduced the RSK-CGM.3 remote switching kit designed specifically for Ormazabal CGM.3 switchgear.
The RSK-CGM.3 is compatible with all configurations of Ormazabal CGM.3 switchgear and supports both disconnect and earthing switch operations. The solution allows technicians to operate switchgear remotely from outside the arc-flash boundary, at distances of up to 300 feet with line of sight, significantly improving personnel safety during switching operations.
Powered by a Milwaukee M18™ REDLITHIUM™ ion battery pack, the RSK-CGM.3 requires no modifications to existing electrical equipment. Weighing just 17 pounds, the kit is lightweight and portable, making it suitable for installations in confined or hard-to-access locations. Fast installation and removal minimize downtime, while adjustable travel settings and locators ensure compatibility across the entire CGM.3 product range.
