Customizable SIPANELS now assembled in Wendell, N.C.
Siemens’ new line of SIPANEL® industrial control panels are designed for protection, automation and control applications in industrial automation and power distribution. Now engineered and assembled at Siemens’ Electrification and Automation facility in Wendell, N.C., the fully customizable solution combines Siemens’ technology with end-to-end manufacturing excellence for enhanced functionality, efficiency, and reliability across a wide array of industries.
These ISO9000 and UL508A-certified panels combine Siemens technology, consulting, engineering and field services at a single facility, providing unified production with rapid turnaround and superior quality control. SIPANEL also offers custom retrofit capabilities that allow customers to modernize legacy systems with minimal disruption, making it an ideal choice for utilities, industrial operators, microgrid installations and smart infrastructure projects.
“SIPANEL is more than a product—it’s a promise of reliability, efficiency, and simplicity,” said Jonathan Hill, VP of Products, Protection & Automation for Electrification and Automation at Siemens Smart Infrastructure USA. “SIPANEL provides a vertically integrated approach that delivers the technology, features and functionality our customers need at scale while saving time and lowering costs.”
SIPANEL panels are digitally modeled using Siemens’ advanced Digital Twin technology to meet the unique specifications of each customer. Digital Twin precision engineering ensures faster delivery, reduced errors, and seamless integration into existing infrastructure. By bringing key panel components in-house, Siemens reduces the risk of supply chain disruptions and maintains tight control over cost, lead time, and quality.
