During Tech Day, Comau is presenting a comprehensive array of innovative products and solutions to both existing and potential customers, including system integrators and end users. New introductions include MyCO cobots for collaborative human-robot interaction, MyMR AMR for enhanced autonomous material handling, and Comau’s N-WG new generation welding gun and spot welding solutions, which are tailored for specific industrial applications.These new offerings complement established products such as the N-220/170 robots, MATE exoskeletons and MI.RA family of intelligent vision recognition systems, in addition to the company’s welding simulation and robotic educational initiatives with the e.DO educational robot.
In the new Experience Hub, as well as in the shopfloor and R&D areas, customers and partners will enjoy highly interactive events, including live robot demonstrations, insightful presentations from Comau’s top engineers and product managers, and personalized engagement with specialists – all of which highlight Comau’s ongoing dedication to innovation, customer success, and strong partnerships.
The Experience Hub provides demonstrations in key areas such as Warehousing & Logistics, Guided Handling & Assembly, Welding, Sensitive Environments, Piece Picking, Turnkey e-Mobility, Wearable Robotics, and Education, including Pharma solutions. Comau’s in.Grid Digital Platform and the Comau Open Controller, with its intuitive interface, digital algorithms and virtual simulation capabilitiesare also on display, showcasing Comau’s significant investments in R&D and its global vision, which is deeply rooted in its Italian origins.
Among the innovations featured along the Tech Day tour is Comau’s new dry room, a fully equipped proprietary laboratory at its Grugliasco headquarters. Dedicated to the development and testing of equipment for the production of lithium-ion and next-generation cells, the dry room marks a concrete step toward post-lithium batteries, strengthening Comau’s position in the electrification sector and expanding its end-to-end battery solutions portfolio.
A significant highlight of the Tech Days event will be the participation of Automha, a recently acquired Italian Company specializing in warehousing and automated intralogistics systems. Automha is poised to present its competencies and products range, starting from its innovative Autosat GTR solution.
Autosat GTR is Automha’s patented, semi-automatic, high-density storage system. The system utilizes a lithium-battery powered shuttle that operates on rails, controlled via remote or Wi-Fi tablet, for depositing and retrieving pallets. A forklift or AGV positions the shuttle, after which the Autosat GTR handles the remaining tasks, minimizing time and maneuvers. It boasts increased storage capacity, faster pallet flow, and enhanced flexibility compared to conventional drive-in racking, which is why there are currently over 12,500 units deployed in more than 56 countries. A fully automated version, integrated with AGVs and factory software, is also available.
The Tech Days will also underscore a unified integrated robotics vision, featuring collaborations with key partners such as Siemens, Rockwell Automation, and KPMG. This collaborative strategy emphasizes Comau’s expanding ecosystem and its commitment to delivering comprehensive, integrated solutions.
