GCF validates IMS test cases from Rohde & Schwarz for 5G NR protocol conformance

In cooperation with MediaTek, Rohde & Schwarz has submitted test cases for 5G NR protocol conformance test to the Global Certification Forum (GCF). The test cases have been validated successfully, adding on to the company’s legacy in IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) protocol conformance testing.

Rohde & Schwarz hosts Oscilloscope Days 2021, a new two-day digital seminar event

Oscilloscopes take center stage at the online educational event organized by Rohde & Schwarz in partnership with Würth Elektronik and Farnell. Held in May 2021 and catering to electronics engineers from around Europe and beyond, participation at the Oscilloscope Days 2021 is free. The live sessions will be streamed simultaneously in English, German, French and Russian.

Rohde & Schwarz demonstrates its test solutions for the entire mobile ecosystem live at MWC Shanghai 2021

In times when many trade shows and congresses are cancelled, postponed or have shifted to virtual formats, MWC Shanghai 2021 is the first show of the GSMA MWC series to return as a physical event in February 2021. Test and measurement specialist Rohde & Schwarz participates and demonstrates its market-leading solutions for mobile devices, chipsets, infrastructure and networks live at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC).

Rohde & Schwarz introduces the first trigger and decode solution for 1000BASE-T1 automotive Ethernet

With the new K58 option for its oscilloscopes R&S RTO and R&S RTP, Rohde & Schwarz launches the world’s first triggering and decoding solution for 1000BASE-T1, further extending its leading position in test solutions for automotive. Similar to the existing 100BASE-T1 or CAN bus analysis and decode capability, OEMs and Tier1 suppliers now have the possibility to analyse and decode the latest bus speeds at the leading edge of automotive digital design.

Rohde & Schwarz enters source measure unit market with the new R&S NGU

With two new source measure units (SMU), Rohde & Schwarz enters a market previously not addressed by the power products of the test and measurement specialist. The performance of the new R&S NGU201 and R&S NGU401 SMUs enables simultaneous sourcing and measuring of currents and voltages with high precision. The two-quadrant R&S NGU201 addresses wireless device battery tests and automatically switches from source mode to sink mode at a defined positive input voltage. The four-quadrant R&S NGU401 can also switch at negative voltages, supporting source measurements for a vast range of power supply types.

Automotive radome tester enhancement from Rohde & Schwarz brings new level of precision to material reflection measurements

Rohde & Schwarz has enhanced its R&S QAR quality automotive radome tester, a tailored solution for radar integration testing to analyze and evaluate the radar compatibility of radomes and bumpers. With the new R&S QAR-K50 single-cluster measurement software, OEMs and tier 1 suppliers are able to achieve measurement results very close to those obtained with a vector network analyzer (VNA) and a quasi-optical (QO) setup, but in a nondestructive and 2-dimensional way. In addition, users benefit from the intuitive R&S QAR operating concept.

R&S SMM100A vector signal generator redefines midrange signal generation for 5G, Wi-Fi 6E and much more

Rohde & Schwarz introduces the R&S SMM100A, the only vector signal generator with mmWave testing capabilities in its class. The instrument meets the rigorous expectations for generating digital signals for the most advanced wireless communication devices entering production, as well as for developing future products and technologies.

High speed, high accuracy RF power measurements up to an unrivalled 67 GHz with the R&S NRP67S/SN power sensors

Rohde & Schwarz has increased the maximum measurable frequency of its three-path diode power sensors to an unrivalled 67 GHz. The three-path technology enables extremely fast and accurate power measurements with a high-sensitivity, portable instrument of minimum size and weight. This frequency extension makes high speed power measurements possible for additional applications such as IEEE 802.11ay and 802.11ad WiGig Wireless LAN, millimeter-wave terrestrial short distance communication links, and satellite-satellite links operating at 60 GHz.
