SOURIAU, a leading global manufacturer of high performance, high reliability interconnect solutions for harsh environments, announces the release of the JBX Push Pull Sealed IP68 connector family for waterproof applications.

Souriau’s UTL is a power connector intended for outdoor applications such as architectural and urban lighting, portable power tools and telecom relays. It conforms to the latest UL and IEC standards, and can handle currents up to 16 A and voltages up to 600 V.

SOURIAU recently extended its range of D38999 contacts by proposing solutions in the military telecommunications and radar fields.

SOURIAU is pleased to announce that it has been honoured with the 2011 AIRBUS Supplier of the Year Award in recognition of the best global performance during the supplier SQAL Electrics Conference held in Toulouse on December 16, 2011.

The Souriau 8D connector with integrated clinch nut allows easy fitting of aluminum sockets to electronic control boxes. It speeds up Series III connector fitting times, whilst at the same time reducing the number of fixing accessories (bolts, washers etc.) needed. It is particularly suited to boxes with difficult access and requiring maintenance, in an aeronautical or military environment.

SOURIAU’s secure PCB connection for hostile environments, its 8D Double Flange (38999 Series III) enables the panel fixing to be separated from the PCB connection. This is an elegant, robust, high-performance solution for connecting up PCBs in boxes whilst retaining all the flexibility of a standard interface.
