Historically linked to the construction of the Strasbourg tramway, Vossloh has provided a whole range of track and signalling equipment for the extension of line D towards the German city of Kehl.

On May 21st 2014, Vossloh Cogifer opened its new forging unit for manufacturing forged tongues on the Vossloh Cogifer Kihn industrial site in Luxembourg. The event took place in the presence of Mr. Etienne Schneider, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Economy. The whole Vossloh Cogifer and Vossloh Group Managing Board attended the opening and welcomed their major customers and partners.
In 2010, Vossloh Cogifer won the tender call for the supply of Swedish National Railways (Trafikverket) with more than 7000 Integrated Actuation Mechanisms for Points and Crossings. In June 2013, these mechanisms, namely Easyswitch-R, were officially accredited. Currently, the application of the systems is under way.
Vossloh is supplying turnouts and fastenings for use on the Tours – Bordeaux high speed line in France, where ballasted track is being designed to support line speeds in excess of 300 km/h.
On 21 May 2013, the joint venture formed by Vossloh Cogifer and its Russian partner SP-Technology won a tender for the privatisation of the Novosibirsk Switch Plant. With over 10,000 units manufactured each year, and a market share of more than 80%, Novosibirsk is Russia's largest manufacturer of points and crossings.
Vossloh Cogifer, a subsidiary of Germany's Vossloh Group and specialised in points and crossings and associated equipment, recently inaugurated its new €3 million technology centre in Reichshoffen, in Alsace. Around 30 engineers will develop turnouts and signalling equipment at the new centre.
