HMS Industrial Networks now announces an initiative to increase focus on tailor-made solutions for industrial communication. Local development centers around the world will help customers to get customized solutions for their specific needs within industrial network connectivity, machine communication, wireless solutions, integrated safety and remote management etc.

For several years, the Anybus Wireless Bridge has been a popular solution to replace Ethernet cabling with a Bluetooth or WLAN connection. After the acquisition of the wireless gateways from u-blox/connectBlue in September, HMS Industrial Networks can now present an expanded suite of Anybus Wireless Bridge products for connecting industrial devices wirelessly.

The Netbiter Remote Management solution from HMS Industrial Networks now allows automation devices using EtherNet/IP to be monitored and controlled via the web. By connecting a Netbiter EasyConnect 300-series gateway, users of EtherNet/IP-based equipment can do maintenance from any location.

With the new IXXAT Econ 100, HMS offers a stand-alone embedded PC for real-time Industrial Ethernet for many applications – from small material handling devices to complex robot-based systems for medical use. The Econ 100 combines the machine control expertise from IXXAT with the fieldbus and industrial Ethernet capabilities of HMS' Anybus technology.

With the CAN-IB300/PCI and CAN-IB400/PCI, HMS offers two new CAN cards for the PCI bus, modularly expandable with up to four CAN interfaces and with an extensive driver and tool suite support.

The new Anybus BACnet to Modbus gateway makes it possible to connect Modbus devices to a BACnet network. The gateway handles conversion between Modbus (RTU, ASCII, and TCP) and BACnet/IP and makes each connected Modbus device appear as a BACnet compliant device on the BACnet network.

New Ethernet solution from HMS Industrial Networks makes it possible for device manufacturers to download the industrial Ethernet protocol of choice to standardized Ethernet hardware from HMS.

HMS Industrial Networks now expands the Netbiter Remote Management offering to include three different services catering for different user needs. The dedicated services enable both quick connection to a single remote machine, as well as advanced projects including multiple installations and users. HMS also presents a new Netbiter EasyConnect gateway (EC310) which communicates via Ethernet only.

The IXXAT canAnalyser is a powerful analysis tool for development, test and maintenance of CAN networks, suitable for both, industrial and automotive systems. HMS Industrial Networks now releases canAnalyser Version 3 with improved functionality and user interface.

CAN FD offers an opportunity to use existing CAN systems and CAN knowledge even when demands are high for number of nodes, transfer rates, and cycle times. Thomas Waggershauser from HMS explains how.
