HMS Networks is announcing the availability of Anybus® CompactCom IIoT Secure products for both EtherNet/IP and PROFINET, including a new complete security platform for IIoT communication over OPC UA and MQTT.
With the new Service Pack 2, HMS Networks extends the functionality of the Ixxat® CAN@net NT and CANbridge NT series.
Users can now add smart, event-controlled network actions and versatile bi-directional MQTT-messaging to cloud applications. The new hardware CAN@net NT 100 complements the CAN@net NT range with new network connectivity.
HMS Networks announces a new compact Intesis Modbus RTU to KNX gateway that enables easy and fast integration of Modbus RTU slaves to KNX. Fully configurable using the standard ETS tool, it targets small-scale room control applications with up to 100 data points.
IAI uses Anybus embedded technology from HMS to connect their robot and motion controllers to various industrial networks in factories around the world.
Ixxat SG-gateways enable data exchange between IEC61850 or IEC60870-5-104 based energy networks and common fieldbus and Industrial Ethernet systems. HMS Networks now introduces new functions, including Mediabreaker functionality and support for IEC60870-5-101, DNP3, OPC-UA and MQTT. The user management has also been improved and a version with Ethernet switch is available.
HMS Networks today announces a new set of features in the Talk2M®Easy Setup framework for Ewon® products, targeting to make secure remote machine access connectivity even easier for machine builders and end users.
HMS Networks now presents a new line of Anybus® Switches and Wireless Routers for next generation industrial wireless communication. Preparing for the arrival of 5G and the vision of smarter and more flexible factories, the products combine high capacity and reliability with more mobility and less latency to wireless networks.
Research shows that half of the industry professionals are clearly positive about 5G in manufacturing and see it as a way to obtain universal connectivity.
More and more industrial equipment is being connected to industrial networks. In 2019, the number of new connected nodes is expected to grow by 10%. Industrial Ethernet and Wireless continue to grow fast, but 2019 also marks the first year of fieldbus decline. These are the main findings in the annual study of the industrial network market by HMS Networks. Industrial Ethernet now accounts for 59% of new installed nodes (52% last year), while fieldbuses are on 35% (42). EtherNet/IP is still the most widely installed network at 15%, but PROFINET is closing in at 14%. Wireless technologies continue to develop strongly and are steady at 6% of the market (6).
HMS Networks now announces a new version of the M2Web service which enables users of Ewon® Flexy products to instantly monitor KPI’s, Key Performance Indicators, from remotely located machines. Using a standard PC, tablet or smartphone, Machine Builders and End Users get full insight into their installations thanks to a new intuitive graphical interface, a mobile-friendly responsive view, and a map view of all connected machines.
