Delta, a global leader in power management and in smart green solutions, will showcase its newly-launched scalable megawatt (MW)-level fast charging solution for large electric vehicle (EV) fleets and a new ultra-slim 50kW DC Wallbox EV Charger for flexible urban deployment at ACT Expo 2025. The former solution offers scalability up to 3MW with 16 charging outputs to satisfy the high-power charging demand of large EV fleet operators, while the latter boasts under 10 inches to adapt seamlessly to a wide range of venues, such as roadsides, parking lots, and public garages.
Eng Taing, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Energy & Telecom Infrastructure SBP, at Delta Electronics (Americas), said, “Fleet electrification is a multi-dimensional challenge that requires infrastructure to address grid limitations, space constraints, operator economics, and the fast-evolving landscape of EV technology. Delta develops and delivers fully integrated infrastructure solutions featuring high-efficiency energy hardware and intelligent management software to meet the needs of today’s fleets and tomorrow’s mobility.”
Delta’s scalable megawatt (MW) charging solution turns this strategy into reality, delivering up to 3MW of total power across a maximum of 16 charging outputs. Its distributed architecture allows flexible site planning and centralized power supply to multiple dispensers. The space-efficient back-to-back layout maximizes footprint utilization, while supporting NACS, CCS1, and MCS connectors for seamless deployment. It supports traditional AC-coupled systems and can be configured for a DC-coupled integrated architecture, combining energy storage and onsite renewables to enable smarter energy use, reduce costs, and prepare depots for future microgrid applications. This integration helps operators future-proof their infrastructure while optimizing overall energy usage.
As light-duty EVs become the operational standard for urban logistics and last-mile fleets, the challenge has shifted from adoption to efficient deployment. The DC Wallbox 50kW, with slim (under 10 inch) profile, flexible installation options, and 97% energy efficiency, is purpose-built for compact city depots, indoor parking lots, and tight spaces. This cutting-edge EV charger, expected to be produced at Delta’s manufacturing facility in Plano, Texas, supports simultaneous charging of two electric vehicles using CCS1 or NACS connectors. Its 7-meter cable extends reach across various parking layouts, simplifying installation and daily use. Moreover, its backend integration supports the creation of dense, distributed charging networks, enabling operators to expand across multiple locations without major grid upgrades or additional space.
Delta also offers an IoT-enabled service platform designed to ensure uptime performance and support the long-term success of electrified fleets. This intelligent system enables fast issue resolution and reduces maintenance needs through remote diagnostics, troubleshooting, predictive maintenance, and over-the-air (OTA) updates. Combined with strong vertical integration and an established U.S. footprint in local manufacturing and field service, Delta delivers dependable, fleet-ready solutions that continue to drive the growth of the EV ecosystem.
