Konecranes receives order from Louisiana for two portal harbor cranes

In the second quarter of 2020, Port of South Louisiana ordered two Konecranes Gottwald Model 6 Portal Harbor Cranes for its public facility, Globalplex Intermodal Terminal (Globalplex). With commissioning planned for September 2021, the cranes will increase capacity for bulk materials and add flexibility for future handling of containers and project cargo.

KONECRANES GOLIATH STRIDES TO FRANCE

KONECRANES AND CHANTIERS DE L’ATLANTIQUE, A SHIPYARD IN ST. NAZAIRE, FRANCE, HAVE SIGNED A CONTRACT FOR THE DELIVERY OF A KONECRANES GOLIATH GANTRY CRANE. IT WILL HANDLE LARGE SHIP BLOCKS AND PANELS OVER THE DRY DOCK, PLAYING A LEADING ROLE IN SHIP ASSEMBLY AT THIS STORIED SHIPYARD. THE ORDER WAS BOOKED IN Q4 2019.

Konecranes Automated RTGs to three European container terminals

Konecranes has signed contracts with Yilport for the delivery of Automated RTG systems to three of Yilport’s European container terminals, two in Portugal and one in Sweden. Automated RTG operation is coming of age in Europe, driven by Konecranes. The order was booked in December 2019.

Konecranes wins order in Rotterdam for mobile harbor crane Powered by Ecolifting

In the last quarter of 2019, Rhenus Logistics B.V. (Rhenus) ordered an eco-efficient Konecranes Gottwald Model 6 Mobile Harbor Crane for their operations at the Rhenus Deep Sea Terminal, Maasvlakte in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. With commissioning planned for May and handover by June 2020, the crane will handle general, heavylift & project cargo and expand the terminal’s container handling capacity. Equipped with an external power supply, it brings Konecranes’ Powered by Ecolifting to a new market.

Konecranes secures repeat order for portal harbor crane in Vladivostok

Pacific Logistic LLC ordered a second eco-efficient Konecranes Gottwald Model 3 Portal Harbor Crane for their Sollers Terminal in Vladivostok, Russia. After handover in late autumn 2020, the crane will expand capacity for handling containers of automotive parts and common consumption goods.
